The hero is a collage — postcards, butterflies, fossils, a bison — with the agency’s name spelled out in letters cut from its own archives, and it earns that flourish by being the only one on the page. Everything after is service: two clean dropdowns for finding a park by state or story, then a card grid of programs photographed with actual rangers in actual weather.
The induction is for competence at a scale no private team faces. This site fronts 400-plus parks for every kind of visitor on every kind of device, under accessibility and plain-language obligations most agencies treat as a ceiling; here they read as a floor. Section 508 compliance, a “last updated” date on the page, and still room for a collage. Public service, playing at a level worth studying.
